Food safety and quality sit at the centre of how we source, handle, pack and deliver every product. To keep that promise, Cloveto has established a food safety and quality management system and continually improves it at every level of our business, and with our business partners, by following these principles:
Sourcing and suppliers
We work closely with approved suppliers and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, regulatory authorities, customers and partners, so that every nut, dry fruit, spice, grain and pulse we receive meets our specifications before it enters our warehouse.
Handling, storage and packing
Products are stored, handled and packed under hygienic, controlled conditions that protect freshness, taste and aroma, and that prevent contamination at every step from receiving to dispatch.
People and training
We train our team on food safety and quality practices and keep that training consistent, so that everyone who handles our products understands their responsibility for product safety and for meeting all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and continual improvement
Our management follows changes in food regulations and sets measurable food safety and quality objectives. We regularly review our policies, standards and procedures to manage risks linked to changes in products, processes and technology.
Listening to our customers
Customer feedback is reviewed carefully and used to improve our products and service. Any concern about product quality is investigated and answered promptly.
